Hotel Lotus Kansas City Stadium

First off I have to say this review is genuine. I have really only 1 complaint and it’s minor. The parking lot is weird. The rooms are a little outdated not too bad though. I stayed at the embassy suites kc airport the night before and that was worse.. I’ve gotta say the location is pretty prime if you’re going to a game. Overall it was a great price for a 1 night stay and if I ever have a job out here we’ll definitely be staying here again.

This hotel is the definitive choice for anyone attending an event at the Chiefs or Royals stadiums. Its absolute best feature is the easy walking distance to both venues, making the premium price worth it to skip game day parking and traffic hassles. They do sell empty parking space for people going to the game but they reserve space for hotel guests so you're guaranteed parking. However, outside of the stadiums, the hotel is isolated with nothing else walkable and no on-site bar or restaurant. The property itself is clean and comfortable, fitting the mold of a basic, quality two-star hotel (think Quality Inn, not luxury). I only recommend this hotel and its premium rate if you are specifically attending a stadium event; otherwise, it is simply a basic property far from everything else.

The room was extremely clean, very nice and smelled good. Ram The front desk clerk was attentive and pleasant. He's the main reason I'm leaving a review. You can tell when someone cares about the customer and that was refreshing. So here's the long and short of it.. They keep piping hot folgers coffee on tap! The breakfast had eggs,sausages,biscuits & gravy,yogurt,fruit,waffles,cereal etc. They have a pool,laundry facility, a workout room etc. The ONLY downside was the tv channel selection. They need some movie channels like HBO. I can't stand commercials..O_0

The hotel made an exception and got a room for me. Beautiful facility, clean and easy to get to from the highway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and it was affordable. Staff member Jennifer was great.

Thank you Hotel Lotus KS for your hospitality and availability at a last minute decision, twice! :) Safety is number one as parents traveling with children and we had no concern! I like how it’s inside the building so private access for guest only! We were very impressed with our room, as a two queen bed. Very spacious, organized and clean! Only concern was AC, towels and TV need upgrade please! First room we had TV was not a smart TV. Second room it did, not that it’s a big deal since on vacation or not there to watch TV but having kids does help to entertain for twenty minutes while getting ready! And gives a better easy access to your favorite shows like Disney or YouTube ! :) Towels in our first room were very thin and small! And for some odd reason it was warm, I like it but my husband and daughter perfer cold while sleeping and co sharing with a little one woke up sweaty! Thank you for fixing this issue right away ! Second stay we had a great customer service and was taken cared of due to circumstances! We had the standard Queen due to last minute booking and to be honest since co sharing it was very uncomfortable so next time for sure getting a bigger space wand make reservations ahead of time! Overall we had a gear stay! Perfect location and close to Walmart, and other shopping centers including a 10 minute drive to Hyvee Arena where we came for our church conference! We highly recommend Hotel Lotus! Affordable, safe, clean and amazing customer service we have had in a while as we do travel often! And it was our first time in KS city and we had a great experience and will be back! Lots of parking options, laundry on site and the gym! LOVE BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING AS WELL!

All the necessities were good (clean, no pests, good bed, safe) and the breakfast was excellent. The microwave and toilet in our room didn't work perfectly. There was a mess at the back entrance. Overall worth the money when the Chiefs aren't playing.

We wasn't sure what we'd get with this stop. From the outside parking lot you could be easily mislead. Once inside, I was much more pleased with our choice. Rooms were well furnished and comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Hot breakfast that was served was impressive given the class of hotel. We will definitely keep this one on our radar for future visits to the area. Oh, and the view of the stadiums at night is pretty cool.

We had such a great stay at the Lotus Hotel! The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. The rooms were spotless and the beds super comfy—made it easy to relax after a long day. One of the best parts was the location: just a short, easy walk to GEHA Stadium, which made it the ideal spot for catching a Chiefs game. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with great amenities and unbeatable convenience! We will definitely be back. See you next season.
